  15.        This  manual  page  documents the GNU version of ppwwdd.  ppwwdd
  16.        prints the fully resolved name of the  current  directory.
  17.        That is, all components of the printed name will be actual
  18.        directory names -- none will be symbolic links.

  20.        Note that most Unix shells provide a built-in ppwwdd  command
  21.        with  similar  functionality so the unadorned, interactive
  22.        ppwwdd command will usually execute the built-in version  and
  23.        not this one.
